Memorial Service for JOHN BURR
A memorial service for John, who died in an automobile accident October 18, 2007, will take place on Friday, October 17th in New York at St. Ignatius Loyola, 980 Park Avenue at 3PM. A reception will follow at the New York Junior League, 130 E. 80th Street from 4 to 6PM. (We thank Joe Bolster '52 for this information.)
GEORGE IVES and his wife have written a book about her mother: "Gisela and I have published a book based on her mother's memoirs titled In God's Hands: A Noblewoman's Struggle for Survival in War and Revolution. It is quite an interesting story tracing the life of her mother, Ellen von zur Muehlen, beginning with her birth on her father's estate in a Baltic province of Tsarist Russia (now Estonia)."
